 Nicole Farrell is a dynamic and results-driven nonprofit grant writer and fundraising consultant based in Akron, OH, with over four years of experience and a proven track record of securing over $20 million in funding for nonprofit organizations. As the founder of Rubber City Development Consulting, she specializes in grant writing and fundraising development for emerging nonprofits, helping them build capacity and achieve their missions through strategic funding initiatives. Nicole provides tailored coaching and education through multiple platforms including, Unlocking Funding and Nonprofit for Newbies, guiding organizations to become grant-ready and successfully submit their first proposals. Her expertise includes grant proposal writing, donor cultivation, project management, and data collection, with proficiency in tools such as Notion.io, Instrumentl, and Google Suite. She has also volunteered as a board member and development advisor for several community organizations, including the NEO Collective for Bodily Autonomy, Akron Promise, and Summit County 4-H. Nicole’s passion for empowering nonprofits is evident in her commitment to delivering impactful solutions and fostering long-term success for her clients. Nicole is currently based in Akron, Ohio and will be based in New Orleans, Louisiana for most of 2025.
